As early as the summer of 2006, The Loopy Ewe started in a small corner of the basement. It started out on sock yarns, but it quickly added other weights and yarn types. A year later, the founders quickly moved the store from the basement to the retail area. In the past few years, they have added more yarns, as well as beautiful fabrics and wool for quilting and sewing. It really helps everyone. They spent five years running their store in St. Louis and then moved the store to Fort Collins, Colorado, at the end of 2011, because they always wanted to live near the mountains. This is a family project from start to finish. The Loopy Ewe also has a few outstanding employees who help it pull out the order, pack it, and send it to your door.
