The Genealogist has just released a set of color tenth maps for Bedfordshire to add previously released grayscale maps to their national tenth record collection. The color digital maps released this time will give you a very detailed plan from the National Archives (TNA). The Genealogist has linked these to appropriate distribution letters, which provide researchers with detailed information about the plots, their owners and occupants surveyed in the Victorian era. These make the map easier to understand because streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, houses, and trees are often highlighted in different colors. These labeled color maps incorporate previously released constituency allocation books, grayscale national maps, and color maps including Warwick, Rutland, Huntington, Buckingham, York, Middlesex County, Northumberland, Surrey, West Morland and North and East Yorkshire.
