Founded in 1983, Shave Ice Supplies is a small, newly established shaving ice supply company. The company's original goal was to provide Hawaiian ice scraping equipment and accessories to the Hawaiian public. After several years of efforts on the local ice scraping industry, h.t.k was given the opportunity to acquire Hawaiian Snow, a flavor company founded in California. After buying Hawaiian Snow, the company decided to bring Hawaiian Snow from California to Hawaii, where Shave Ice Supplies could produce syrup and concentrate it on the local island of Oahu. In 1994, due to increased local and continental demand, H.T.K. moved to a two-story warehouse / showroom now located in Kalich, where it produces condiments. They also offer machine rentals for shaved ice, marshmallows and popcorn. In their new warehouse, the company is able to produce flavors and provide sales and services for shaving ice and related products.
