Projectplayroom was always intended to be! Karri and Denise first came into contact in 2019 while working together on the Manhattan House, a playroom design in New York City. Through their first project, they were able to identify three major issues: children outgrow the majority of toys and playsets very fast, it can be challenging to discover products built for fun indoor play, and too much screen time stunts a child's development. Together, Projectplayroom created devices for playrooms that transform how children play. They founded the first designer playroom store as a result of their experience and drive!
