Planet Granite was founded in 1994 with the simple idea that rock climbers, a group of marginal athletes, should have world-class facilities and specialized sports training. At the time, there were few one-stop gyms for rock climbing, yoga and fitness in the United States. In addition, the systems and infrastructure needed to climb dedicated gyms, such as overhanging walls, mechanized system panels and textured boulders, do not exist. Their mission is to provide everyone with the best experience of rock climbing, yoga and fitness, to be an ambassador for outdoor sports, and to give back to the community.
