Pembrokeshire Alpaca Trekking, which is owned and operated by them, was founded in 2019. After cultivating cattle, sheep, and potatoes for 30 years, it was decided that the farm required a small shift in direction to remain viable. They wished to carry on farming and be physically active and outside. They wish to provide both Welsh residents and tourists with an excellent alpaca experience and walk. After doing a lot of study, in 2018 they made the decision to buy 10 BAS (British Alpaca Society) registered lovely alpacas in order to provide trekking and an overall alpaca experience to local visitors. Since then, Pembrokeshire Alpaca Trekking has purchased a number of more male alpacas to add to the trekking herd. They were hand-selected to work with the public and are incredibly composed.
