Muranda Cheese was born in late 2007 when the Murray family decided it was time to market their products direct to consumers. Today, the farm produces more than 17 cheeses, recognized for their exceptional artisanal quality. When you visit Muranda Cheese, you not only have the opportunity to sample their cheese, but also to experience the farm's passion for producing its products. As well as providing premium genetics to the dairy industry, they have won numerous awards for their premium milk, including 'Dairy Excellence' recognition for over 25 consecutive years. To make the cheese, they first use high-quality milk and test the milk for quality and purity. They then make the milk more homogeneous by heat-treating and pasteurizing the product.
