In 1984, they started Mike Wild Game Processing at their home in Campbellsport, Wisconsin. Mike's venison processing plant is well-known and the business is getting bigger and bigger, so in the spring of 1998, an independent meat processing plant was completed. By 1999, customers at Mike's Country Meats needed and wanted them to add sausage making as an additional service, required their state permit, and added a 500-pound smoking room.
