Kalapana Tropicalsis an orchid farm owned and operated by a family. Its owner, John Mindy Clark, opened a Dendrobium flower arrangement field in Karapana area in 1987, expanded to plant potted orchids in 1993, and established a second nursery in Kulty town area 20 miles away. They currently have 19 greenhouses with a total area of about 80,000 square feet for potted plants, and they export about 70,000-80,000 pots of orchids every year. As time goes by, the focus of Kalapana Tropicals has shifted from planting cut orchids to mainly planting potted orchids certified for export. Their mission is to constantly improve their orchid culture and expand their variety selection, so that they can provide a variety of high-quality plants to meet the needs of most people.
