This is a family-run amusement park and water park in Maine. Funtown Splashtown USA offers 25 rides, a roller coaster and a large water park for family fun. The entrance fees for amusement and water parks can be purchased separately or together. Funtown, on the edge of the amusement park, offers over twenty rides, including Maine's only wooden roller coaster Excalibur and New England's highest and longest Thunder Falls waterway. The Splashtown Waterpark section features family cruises, pipe slides, body slides, an active pool and water rides with hundreds of different interactive water features. On the four-lane racing skateboard Amphitrite Challenge competing types can be played side by side. There are also two tube slides and two body slides that are more interesting. The rides at the water park include the five-headed Mammotha family riding a raft and a tornado. This is an exciting two- or four-person tube that passes through a closed sink and quickly descends to a huge funnel that drops off to one side.
