Cat Coven is a store for geeks, witches and warriors. It is created and run by Kjersti Faret, an artist from Brooklyn, New York. Cat Coven was founded in 2013, when Kirsti also studied illustrations at the School of Visual Arts. Shelst always loved it and decided to try to sell some of the pieces she made while she was in her spare time, including hand embroidery, magazines, cards and other odds. In the later years of SVA, Shelst took a screen printing class and fell in love with the process. She likes to be able to place artwork, such as clothes, on everyday items. In the end, the little shop developed into an independent online store, which is today's party. She hopes that her illustrations will make people feel confident and powerful.
