Barrel and Boar began as Yoho's catering service in 1983 and was created by Art Yoho after his father started distributing the first batch of Southern Pride smokers in Ohio. It became one of the earliest commercial barbecue restaurants and caterers in Columbus. Barrel and Boar a family that has developed a keen interest in smoked meat is famous for its smoked breast meat and locally raised whole pigs. This restaurant is located on Westville Road, in the old dog and suds building that the family ran in the 60s and 70s. After operating for 7 years, Yoho gave Riley an opportunity to share ownership. They established a partnership to help the business continue into the 20th year.
