Arts Iowa is a collaborative network serving some of the most prestigious Arts institutions in eastern Iowa, including the Iowa orchestra, the ballet four cities, the cedar rapids opera house, the Iowa orchestra school, and the Paramount theater. The Iowa state orchestra was founded in 1921 and is recognized as the state's premier symphony orchestra.
