Mike and Sasha had a passion for wine since they were young. Soon after, Mike became interested in the art of winemaking and studied for many years in this area. With entrepreneurship and the ambiguity of the future of the wine industry in a non-traditional environment, the two realize that opening a micro-distillery is their path, and what better than combining this passion with the love of the Adirondacks family. Shortly after welcoming their beautiful daughter Ella to their home, the Paddys decided to move to the Adirondacks to get closer to their families and pursue their dream of opening a winery. Adirondack Winery, formerly known as Rogo Adirandak Winery, opened in May 2008 and became one of the first miniature wineries in China. The tasting room features a tasting bar for up to 15 people, who make wine in small batches behind the tasting room. Adirondack Winery soon became an institution that resonated with locals and tourists.
